
1. Will the Walkathon be cancelled if it rains?
The walkathon will take place rain or shine.
2. Do I have to collect sponsor money in order to walk?
TelfairLife encourages each walker to raise money for their charity; however, registered walkers are not required to collect sponsor money.
3. When is the deadline to qualify for the Walker, Charity and Team Challenges?
All registrations and sponsor donations must be submitted online and checks postmarked by midnight on Tuesday, April 6th, 2010 to be counted towards any challenge awards. Walkers must check-in on walk-day to be counted towards the charity challenge totals.
4. Who is eligible to walk?
Everyone! Children under 16 years of age on the day of the event must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is also registered to participate in the event.
5. What if I can’t pick up my goodie bag before the walk?
Goodie bags will be available to pick up the morning of the walk at the check-in tent.
6. Can I register the day of the walk?
Yes, you can register the day of the walk, however t-shirts and goodie bags are not guaranteed.
7. Can I bring sponsor money with me the day of the walk?
Yes, TelfairLife will collect your sponsor money the day of the Walkathon. ALL SPONSORSHIP CHECKS MUST BE MADE OUT TO YOUR DESIGNATED CHARITY. Only online donations submitted or checks post marked by April 6th will be counted toward Challenge Competitions.

9. How do I form a team or join an existing one?
When registering online either select an existing team to join or create a new one. Remember a team must be made up of at least 4 registered walkers. If you are using paper registration indicate the name of the team you are joining and make sure that all team members select the same charity.
10. What do I do with sponsor money that I collect after the Walkathon?
After the walk please send sponsor money directly to the charity.
11. Are my sponsorship donations tax-deductable?
Yes, when you donate online your donation will go directly to your designated 501 (c) non-profit corporation and you will automatically receive a confirmation email receipt from active.com
12. Is my registration fee tax-deductable?
No, registration fees are not tax-deductable and registration checks must be made out to TelfairLife. 100% of registration fees received by TelfairLife will be given to the walker’s designated charity.
13. If I can't participate in the event, what happens to the donations that I have raised?
All donations submitted to the Charity of Your Choice Walk are non-transferable and non-refundable. If you are unable to participate in the event, your donations cannot be refunded nor can they be transferred to another participant. We hope your donors will appreciate supporting the Charity of Your Choice regardless of your participation in the actual event.
